Our facility provides instant access to the National Forest, and guests can ski and snowmobile starting at their front door. Snowmobilers familiar with the area know that the Snowies provide some of the best trails in the country. Cross-country skiers can enjoy miles of state groomed trails that begin right by the lodge, and for those looking for a little more adventure, Snowy Range Ski area is 2 miles back down the road. The Snowy Range Ski Area is located 32 miles west of Laramie in the Medicine Bow National Forest. The Snowy Range Ski Area offers uncrowded ski slopes, no lines at the chairlifts, a cafe, a bar, and a gift shop. The Ski Area offers 27 trails: 7 beginner; 12 intermediate; and 8 expert. 4 lifts are located throughout the mountain. The base elevation is 9,000 feet and the summit elevation is 10,000 feet. The area offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 250 inches of annual snowfall, and is great for families. The Ski Area is now closed. Thanks for a wonderful 2009-2010 ski season.
