Wild Horses

There is something magical about seeing wild horses roaming free on the plains of the Laramie valley. If you are interested in horses but not in riding, we highly recommend taking a tour of the Deerwood Ranch Wild Horse Ecosanctuary. The ranch is approximately 4,700 acres of open range that is home to 350 wild Wyoming mustangs, not to mention all manner of wildlife. See the horses on your tour along the Middle Fork of the Little Laramie River, approximately 35 miles west of Laramie off of Highway 11 toward Albany.
