Grant Requests

The purpose of the Albany County Tourism Board (ACTB) is to provide for the promotion of travel and tourism within the various areas of Albany County. The goal of the grant process is to assist non-profit organizations with the marketing of events designed to generate overnight stays in Albany County lodging facilities. Albany County Tourism Board is funded by a 4% lodging tax collected from guests staying in paid accommodations within the county.

 

 

1. Review Grant Guidelines

Before downloading the grant application, we ask that you please review the application guidelines.

 

2. Budget and Grant Application

Once you have read the guidelines, please complete the grant application and budget spreadsheet* below and submit the information to the Albany County Tourism Board. Grants must be presented by your representative at the meeting following the next quarterly application deadline. Quarterly deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31st.

* For grant requests exceeding $5,000, a full profit and loss statement must be provided.

 

3. Reporting to the Board

To help with your wrap-up project report and evaluation, which must be submitted at the end of your event in order to remit the second half of payment, please complete and attach the following forms:
