Freedom has a Birthday

July 4th, 2024

Mark your calendars and celebrate the 4th of July in Wyoming this year!

Freedom has a Birthday will be held on July 4th, 2024 from 10am to 4pm. This event is a family friendly, alcohol-free event that has attracted more than 10,000 visitors. This year’s event will include a performance by the Laramie Municipal Band, 2+ entertainment stages, free children’s activities, organizational, demonstration and retail booths as well as a food court. Entry to the festivities is completely free.

Following Freedom has a Birthday, the Fire in the Sky firework display will begin at approximately 10:00 pm. The display usually consists of around 300 aerial shells ranging in diameter from 3 to 8 inches. City parks are a great place to view the show.

While you are in Laramie, make sure to check out all of the beautiful hiking and biking trails in the mountains. Some of which even lead to high alpine lakes where you can cool off from the summer heat. Also, don't miss Laramie Jubilee Days which runs July 6th - 14th, 2024 where you can watch several nights of PRCA rodeo and enjoy downtown festivities.
