Enjoy the fall season in Laramie by relaxing in the heart of downtown while tasting and discovering the area’s craft brews. For the past 15 years, Downtown Laramie’s Brewfest has been an annual summertime event that has hosted over 2,000 participants sampling beers, listening to live music, and connecting with local vendors. Join the Laramie community in celebrating the awards and accomplishments of the seven local brewing companies southeastern Wyoming and northern Colorado have come to cherish.
Laramie is full of delicious craft beer and scores points for fewer crowds and convenience, boasting a surprising five local breweries located within just a few blocks of one another. Proximity and quality have made Laramie a real beacon for the craft beer enthusiast and the craft beer curious alike. Two more breweries are located outside of Laramie in Albany County, but you can grab one of their concoctions in the bars and pubs throughout town.
Downtown Laramie’s Brewfest is a major fundraiser for Laramie’s Main Street Alliance where profits will be used to ensure the economic development, design, and promotion services remain free to every business, building and entrepreneur downtown. Profits from previous events were used for wayfinding, beautification, bike racks, banners and Third Street improvements. Interested in volunteering or donating to the organization? Can’t make it on the day of the Brewfest? Laramie has a self-guided Brew Tour so you can visit any time and immerse yourself in Laramie’s brew culture at your own pace. Downtown also hosts Tour De Laramie, a biking race held in May where participants are required to hit all the bars in Laramie and drink while completing the course.
