    Centennial is nestled at the base of the Snowy Range Mountains, home to Snowy Range Ski Area and any other winter sport one could imagine. While in the area, consider spending a day at the ski lodge (which also has a gift shop!), renting some winter sports gear, or going on a guided snowy adventure. For those with the means to haul home a Christmas tree, cutting down your own in Medicine Bow National Forest is a fun family activity. A permit is required to cut down Christmas trees in the forest; see the U.S. Forest Service website for details.
