I-80 Road Closure? Winter roads in Wyoming are always a bit of a gamble, and Laramie is no different. Occasionally the winter weather forces road closures in the Laramie area and residents and visitors are obliged to hunker down and wait out the storm. Fortunately, Laramie hotels and motels provide a variety of choices. From luxury suites to simple rooms there is an option for every traveler and every budget.
Next time you find yourself in Laramie overnight, try one of these hotel recommendations. The list is divided into three categories based on price point, but each has an above-average rating for service, cleanliness, and comfort.
Best Budget-Friendly Accommodations
First of all, sometimes you just need a clean, comfortable place to rest your head. If you are looking for a homey stay at nearly half the price of many hotels, these reasonably priced options are worth a try.

Laramie Valley Inn
First, the locally owned and operated, Laramie Valley Inn has the highest Google rating in the budget-friendly category. The inn boasts a recently renovated lobby and rooms. While equally clean and comfortable, some older rooms are also available for a discounted rate. Other amenities include microwaves and mini-fridges, free wifi, and a continental breakfast. Pet-friendly rooms are also available.

America’s Best Value Inn
Another great option for a low-cost stay is America’s Best Value Inn. Here you can enjoy cable TV, HBO and free wifi in every room. There are also ice and vending machines and a guest laundry on-site. Wheelchair accessible and smoke-free rooms are available as well.

Super 8 By Wyndham
Last, if you are traveling with very young children, Super 8 by Wyndham is a great option. This convenient hotel has cribs and rollaway beds available. This slightly higher cost hotel has a few more amenities. Super 8 provides coffee makers, microwaves, mini-fridges, free wifi, laundry, and continental breakfast. Additionally, Super 8 also has an indoor pool, fitness center, and business center. Pet-friendly rooms are available.

Average Prices, Above-Average Comfort
Certainly, if you are looking for a few more amenities you should try one of these stellar Laramie hotels. Each of the hotels in this category has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and complimentary hot breakfast. The cost per night does increase a bit, but the additional conveniences are certainly nice.
Hampton Inn
First, consider the Hampton Inn. The Hampton Inn has many amenities, including an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, laundry, and breakfast. Each room has free wifi and coffee makers, of course. Furthermore, some rooms come equipped with microwaves and mini-fridges. You can also choose suites with kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible rooms, and pet-friendly rooms depending on your specific needs.

Next, another fantastic mid-budget option is the Quality Inn and Suites. This hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, free wifi, laundry, and breakfast. What’s more, each room has a coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge for your convenience. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available as well.

Days Inn By Wyndham
Yet another great option, Days Inn boasts all the amenities of the two other hotels in this category. They have an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, free wifi, laundry, and breakfast. Coffee makers, microwaves and mini-fridges are standard in each room. However, Days Inn also has “family size” rooms, pet-friendly, and rollaway beds available.

Upscale Hotels and Extra Amenities
Finally, are you looking for a splurge-worthy experience? In addition to the more cost-conscious options, there are several high-end hotels in Laramie. These hotels offer luxury suites with whirlpools, on-site restaurants and bars, and other amenities. These hotels do cost a bit more than the others listed, however, the additional conveniences are worth it.

Indeed another great place to stay is the Hilton Garden Inn. It is conveniently located within walking distance of War Memorial Stadium, Arena Auditorium, Studio City Movie Theater, and a variety of shopping and restaurants. This beautiful and highly-rated hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant and bar, 24/7 pantry, laundry, and business center. Each room comes fully equipped with free wifi, cable, coffee makers, microwaves, and mini-fridges. There are even “executive rooms” and amazing suites with separate living spaces and whirlpool tubs. Room service, wheelchair-accessible rooms, and an airport shuttle service are also available to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There is free wifi, cable, and coffee makers, microwaves, and mini-fridges in every room. They even have BBQ grills available for use by hotel guests. Holiday Inn also has suites with separate living areas and whirlpool tubs and wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Microwaves and mini-fridges are available in some rooms. They also have pet-friendly rooms and gorgeous suites with fireplaces and whirlpools available.
