2. Snowmobile the Snowies

There are more than 200 miles of groomed trails in the Snowy Range, and another 120 miles of marked ungroomed trails. Not to mention, this gorgeous remote area receives more than 300 inches of snow per year.

Snowmobilers can stay in nearby Laramie or the tiny town of Centennial. With so many trails to choose from, everyone from the newbie to the professional will find terrain perfect for their taste. Temperatures in the Snowies are cold, even in March, so packing a face shield is smart.
